It has a meal plan for about 1200-1300 calories a day. Was thinking of using it and adjusting it for my amount of recommended calories (1600).

Anyone have any luck with this one?

    Shelby,

I've never heard of this. Just a suggestion, but have you thought about just eating what you love within the 1600 calories you need to lose weight? It's easier than following someone else's plan.

Weight loss is not a destination, it's a journey. Lifestyle changes are key.

    Very True.
What I like about the book is it emphasizes that you can eat what you want as long as you take into account your portions of protein, fat, carbs, etc.

So in other words... a sensible approach to dieting that anyone on this board would recommend (unless there's something special you left out here).
