    Cleaned it of food, or really cleaned it?
    My son isn't very good at cooking or cleaning despite my efforts at teaching him. It was only a week so he could only do so much damage. Little things like how he rinsed food off of the dishes before putting them into the dishwasher... leaving the debris in the sink where it dried & hardened...

    Since I wanted to cook for myself and the kitchen was kind of gross, I sorted things out... scoured the sinks, soaked 'em with bleach, etc...

    Bill Watterson felt constrained by the conventions of daily cartoon strips... even the larger weekend edition... Yesterday's strip was an example of him pushing back against the machine. Today's as well but in a different way.

    Aren't you good, I'm also horrible at cleaning, but I think I clean enough to keep things from getting gross....

    I'm not OCD by any stretch but when you share a house with kids & fur babies, a certain amount of effort is justified unless you like finding hair and/or Lego pieces out of your food. Eventually it became habit.
