    As a youngling, I enjoyed suppertime conversations. When I had kids of my own, I wanted to have family meals but my ex-wife refused to participate (bad enough). I worked shifts so on those days when I could, I cooked so the kids and I could have family meals but my ex-wife started feeding the kids snacks ahead of supper to ensure they weren't hungry for my meals. Yeah, she's an ex for many good reasons...
