Been lurking...time to get serious!!

Hi everyone! I bought a Fitbit back in the spring. I was surprised to find I move even less throughout an average day than I had previously thought! I found MFP in the fall, but have only now felt like I could get serious about getting on the path to better health. So here I am, finally coming out of the shadows. 
I am just shy of 5'5" and currently ~198. I want to lose at least 50 pounds, although in the long run I think I would like to lose more.
I have a million reasons that I want to get healthier and lose weight. One of them is my wedding ring. It has been nearly 11 years since I could comfortably wear it. I am stubborn and never wanted to get it resized. Always saying I would lose the baby fat. Sadly, I recently turned 40 and my "babies" are now almost 9 and 11. Time to get out of denial and not let another decade pass the same way.
I love Zumba and aerobics in general. I just started Zumba again today and will start logging my food tomorrow.
I would love to have any of you as friends. I know I do better when I am held accountable. And I hope to provide encouragement and inspiration to others in this journey.
