I love pizza, and although the calories of the pita are similar to a slice of delivery pizza, it's lower in fat, carbs, and sodium. Also they're super easy to make and are faster than delivery pizza. (comparing Papa John's Large Cheese Pizza with this recipe on MFP). It is however still high in sodium, and an easy way to solve this is to use a fresh tomato sauce or a low-sodium sauce.

Ingredients:
1 pkg of multigrain Pita breads (6 count)
1 8 oz can Hunt's tomato sauce
1 bag Skim Mozzarella (approx 2 cup)
6 tablespoons Cheddarjack cheese
6 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
Dried Basil
Dried Parsley

Directions
Preheat oven to 375 F. Lay out a cookie sheet and place Pita breads onto pan. Spread 2 tablespoons of Hunt's tomato sauce onto each of the breads. Then place 1 tablespoon of cheddarjack cheese, and 1 tablespoon of parmesan cheese onto the breads over the sauce. Try to spread evenly. Then place 3-4 tablespoons of skim Mozzarella cheese onto the breads over the top of sauce and other cheeses. Top with parsley and basil. Bake for 5-9 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Cut into 4s and serve.

They're 6in in diameter, and I get mine at my local HyVee, so I would assume other regional grocers would carry them as well. Check near the grocery's bakery and the bread aisles
