Hello, nice to meet you! I'm Miriam, 25 years old and studying psychology. I've been reading and learning about nutrition, fitness and weight loss for quite a long time and I'm getting tired of all the different views on what to do /not to do, etc. So I decided to just start with awareness with what I eat and when (because sometimes I just eat without actually being hungry or when I am upset - not cool).
I am currently busy with lowering my body fat percentage with is around 32 %. I'd like to have it on ~23 % but I think that is a goal on the long run. I plan to do that by building up muscles which is why I don't mind gaining weight in general (as long as it's no more fat, I have enough of that obviously) because they seem to be efficient fat burners.
In clothing sizes, i would want to maintain at medium / size 38 (european size).
I hope to find buddies here so we can encourage each other to keep on going. I myself often also struggle with setting up too unrealistic goals and being impatient so it would be nice to have a reality check from time to time. I think it is nice and so much more fun to work on your goals together, especially if it concerns losing weight and getting fit(!). Please let me know if you want to buddy!
