Barbell Workout

Options
I ordered a 100lb barbell set (2x25lbs, 4x10lbs, 2x5lbs plates ) I would like to do a total body workout with the barbell but need some ideas other than bench press and squats. Any ideas or sites I can go on to build a routine?

Stronglifts 5X5 is a good beginner program.

Whats the diameter of the bar you ordered?
Because you might have ordered a standard barbell set instead of an olympic barbell. And you'll be alright for awhile but standard barbells don't have the same weight capacity as an oly bar

I agree that Stronglifts is a good place to start. Deadlifts and overhead press are probably my current favorite barbell lifts.

I downloaded an app called Fitness Buddy the other day. You can search barbell lifts and it'll give you a description and a gif showing how it's done. You might find something like that helpful.

It really depends on your goals. AllPro is a pretty good general routine for a beginner.

Do you have a rack with safety bars?

    That's length no diameter.
They do make 5ft oly bars but I think you got a standard weight set.
