How often do you weigh yourself? And at what time for the day?

I do once a day in the AM. It is a good way to see how what I ate the day before affected my weight and to catch a slip up before things go too far!0

I prefer to weigh daily, in the morning after I use the bathroom, wearing nothing but my glasses lol. I like to see and hope to better understand the normal daily fluctuations that way. Plus charts & graphs make me happy and I need data for that!0

Consistency is the most important part. Same time, place and nakedness.0

Twice a week at the maximum. Always in the morning, naked.0

I weigh myself every morning. I make sure it is right after I go to the bathroom and I am completely naked. I know numbers can fluctuate a lot but it is definitely something I like to do for myself0

Everyday - it keeps me responsible! I tend to find that first thing in the morning is best (after a bathroom break and before breakfast) and I always wear the same thing more or less. I find my weight fluctuates too much if I try to weigh at any other time - messing up my weight loss graph on MFP (water weight!).0

I weigh myself once a week in the morning, I used to do it once a day but found myself to be getting a little obsessed0

Currently once a day when possible, around the time that my upcoming weighin is going to be, so early evening. Normally however it's in the morning after my two cups of coffee - if I can't make weight without them in my system I'm in trouble0

^ my experience exactly. I weighed every morning and then sometimes I would weigh at various times throughout the day to see how meals (or skipping them) or workouts affected my weight. I was getting NUTS with it and it was not healthy in the least. I now weigh once a week and as others have said, first thing in the morning while naked.0 -
Daily, I need to know.0

Every day right after I wake up and after I pee. I like seeing the trend - I do not give any credence to any single number.0

First thing daily in the morning before I drink or eat anything, post-pee, sans clothes. I don't take any one day's reading too seriously, as I fluctuate within a range of 3-5 pounds. By weighing daily, I get a sense of where my weight is hovering.
If you are the type of person who gets worked up over any one-time number, weighing daily may not be for you. Some folks freak out that they "gained" three pounds the day after they ate one slice of chocolate cake. Many people recommend weighing weekly for that reason.
With three pounds of fluctuation, though, that weekly weighing could make it look like I'm gaining/losing when I'm not.
I also went into my feed settings and disabled the weight loss announcements. MFP announces it to your feed every time you lose, but not when you gain, unless you set it differently. I felt silly knowing I'd be congratulated for losing the same pound 3 times.0 -
Every morning except when I know my period is due soon and I know I'm retaining water anyway.0

I used to weigh myself everyday and developed a bit of a fixation with it. Nowadays i tend to weigh myself twice a week. I felt it becoming a bit of an obsession and that to me wasn't healthy!0

Morning, after the bathroom and nekkid0

Once every morning after using the bathroom and naked. Sometimes before a doctor's appointment, I'll weigh around the same time of my appointment with clothes on just out of curiosity.0
-
Every morning after visiting the potty.0

Normally in the morning as others do, currently as I'm trying to start a new journey probably 3 x a day (yep I'm obsessed and yes I know that weighing at 3pm tells me absolutely nothing except that i'm nuts)0

I step on pretty much every time I'm in the bathroom. I log when I lose a full pound, which I only see happen at my post-bathroom morning weigh-in. Weighing so much has taken the power that the scale had over me--seeing a higher number used to ruin my day. Now I just shrug and move on.0
-
Once a month, first thing in the morning, as close to the same place in my menstrual cycle as I can. But I've been doing this for a while. The scale fluctuations stress me out and I know that what I'm doing works, so I don't have to check in as often.0

This is what I do too. If I'm going up in weight the reality of the scale number has a better chance of stopping a big gain before it starts. However, due to changes in water weight because of sodium and TOM I try to remind myself that the only day that really counts is my official Friday weigh-ins.0
