Not sure is it is a big deal on this site, but I have found in the last decade or so it is as important to work on the Mind as much as bashing those miles out or lifting that extra few Kg/Lb, maybe more so.
I read a lot and even attended a few courses about meditation, relaxation methods, still the mind etc etc. Though not over spiritual in a flaky sense, I do believe that the mind is one of the most overlooked causes for being unhealthy, unfit and most importantly unhappy.
There could well be many of you guys on here with just a few easy adjustments on their perspective and thinking could lead to dramatic changes to their fitness and lives.
I personally started on this road with massive success and wellbeing and then committed the cardinal mistake of trying too hard and reading too much about it and the various methods out there.
Now gone back to basics :-) Breathing meditation and just a few simple other techniques in stilling the mind and relaxing those muscles when relaxing.
If any of you have overlooked the side to their fitness training or even dieting or whatever I urge you to look into it.
Would be nice to discuss this subject with anyone that knows anything about the subject

Hey there,
I completely agree that a healthy lifestyle is just as much about out mental well-being as our physical and by taking positive action to improve your state of mind can only ever be a healthy thing!
I wish you the very best with your journey!
