New to the Fitbit Charge and need help

Hello every one. I have been a member of myfitnesspal for 3 years. I had the fitbit one and it finally gave out. I recently bought a fitbit charge but cannot get it to update my activity to the myfinesspal. I have read everything I can and still cannot figure it out. Please help.

    I was advised to link the accounts but only use the fitbit for step tracking. Exercise, food etc should be logged via MFP. Same applies if you are using endomondo, only sync that to MFP and between the accounts they validate the information from the fitbit to the assumptions the MFP makes

    Try uninstalling the app and reinstall that worked for me
