Are you speaking specifically to logging on MyFitnessPal? When I do any of the P90X3 cardio routines (MMX, Agility X, etc), I usually just log it under Aerobics (general).

I don't have an exact way of measuring aside from just estimating using the logging method I've mentioned above. If you're looking for something more specific, have you looked into heart rate monitors? I personally have never used one so I don't have much advice, but I'm sure someone else on here may be able to better speak about these!0 -
HRMs aren't appropriate for this kind of training, they will significantly over-estimate.
The best you can get here is a guess, may as well just put in "100" and be done with it.

Using a heart rate monitor will give you a more accurate answer. I recommend one that has the chest strap that you put on and then you have the watch part that tells you how long you've been working out and how many calories you've burned. I use a Polar brand heart rate monitor and I love it. I can burn anywhere from 300-450 calories during a 30-40 minute workout. I've never done P90x though.0

I've actually been looking into getting a HRM and this is my main method of fitness at the moment, so this is good to know! Looks like I'll be saving some cash.

Google up p90x3 and howdoigetripped.com and you find an image with calorie burned for exercise. Looks like someone spent good research time on it. Perhaps a good place to start...0

I don't know how accurate this is, but at http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/calories_burned.asp?exercise=763 you can get a guestimate, which seems about average from what I've read other people with HRM have logged. All you need to do is enter your weight and the length of the workout (30 mins).0
