    So I was all set to write in something funny here, but after reading this, I want mij140's appointment with her surgeon to go well tomorrow, and if she needs surgery, for it to be easy and her recovery quick.

    For a transmission to magically rebuild itself while still in the vehicle. That way I don't have to drop it out of the truck & do it myself.

    And for @mij140 's knee to magically get better. I had reconstructive knee surgery in a long time ago & that is one hell of a pain to go through.

    So sorry to hear this. I know what your going through, my son tore his ACL last year, and I sprained mine back in HS. Just know that you will recover and you will be back on track before you know it. Just do exactly what the doctor and physical therapist tell you to do and no more or less.
    Prayers and well wishes are with you for a speedy recovery.
