Looking for motivation and encouragement

Hello all, my name is Stuart and I logged back in to MFP today for the first time in over a year. I'm looking to lose around 30 lbs in the next 3-4 months - not an unrealistic goal as every time I've used MFP I've been able to shed pounds. My problem is keeping to it - I travel a lot for work and eat out frequently, and I find it hard not to comfort eat and drink after a stressful days work.

Three things I'm doing differently this year:

1) Using a Fitbit to hit a daily step goal
2) Attempting to cut alcohol completely out of my diet for at least the first couple of months
3) Reaching out for encouragement and motivation from others attempting to lose weight

This post addresses point (3) - would love to hear from anyone in a similar position
