New, wide-eyed, motivated, and ... 36!

Helloooo!
I'm Scoutz - 36 years old and recently (for the FIRST time!) started really working on both a shift in prioritizing intentional movement to my daily life (couch to 5k style and 'start small' weight training) as well as serious attention to the foods I eat (think clean eating meets Paleo - dairy, 'good' fats, lotsa greens...and maybe weekend bourbon on the rocks..or two).
I have some general weight loss/muscle gain goals, but the real objective for me is to live a long healthy life climbing mountains with my family well into my late late years.
I consider myself a sort of 'it takes a village' or 'crowd-source' type personality so if anyone is interested in becoming friends and encouraging each other, I'd be delighted!
