Carb Cycling

Hi there,
I am about to attempt carb cycling with two low carb days and the rest of the week have my normal amount of carbs, this is a plan given to me by a gym training, have you had success from this?
If so do you workout on the lower carb days?

What was their reasoning for this?0

If you do carb cycle, you should really be having the lower carb days as rest days. However, I am with Zhost re the question of why you are carb cycling (not saying not to, but am wondering the reasoning for it).0

carb cycling is just one strategy of creating a deficit over the course of the week.
Whether or not you work out on your low days depends entirely on you, your life, what your carb cycle looks like, how much you're eating etc. I currently use my high carb days for lower body training and my PT days, just because I'm extra happy and energised from all the carbs, but on my low days still split training/rest as I normally do.0
