2015 is the year of change! (And yes, I know I said that about 2014.)

I've been on MFP for almost a year now. I joined in May last year. And while it was working for me, it was working too slow. I wanted results NOW. And while I never went to any extremes to lose weight, I basically didn't accept myself the way I was. I refused to buy any new clothes and instead insisted on squeezing into too small skinny jeans (the agony!) which made me dislike my body even more and was just beyond uncomfortable.
So around the beginning of December I decided to put a hold on weight loss and love myself the way I am. I bought myself clothes in my size. (I used to put it off because I'll lose all the weight in like 2 weeks anyway, so why waste the money?) Now I'm completely accepting of my body, but I still want to lose weight because I'm creeping close to that overweight category and I'd like to avoid that as much as possible. Plus I'm in a new relationship with a guy who is ripped! Ha ha. Those abs are enough motivation.

I still haven't weighed myself after Christmas. Going to do that now. The last time I weighed myself was about mid December. I know I've gained weight. But I also exercised today for the first time in a month, like to the day, so I know I'm back on track.
