water gets boring even with fruit, i already drink a heck of a lot of teas and i don't like soda and i avoid most juices (unless i make them myself) so i was just wondering, is there anything else out there to drink that won't ruin my cals for the day but isn't as drab as water?

no dairy pls

How much water are you drinking per day?
Also... What kind of water? Tap? Filtered? Bottled?

I am not the kind of person who drinks much in a given day... But I have found that there are some types of bottled water that I drastically prefer over others...

As long as you are working in your 2L per day, I'm not sure why you'd need more options.

I just drink soda water with a squirt of pure lime or lemon juice in it. I bought a Soda Stream a couple years ago and love it. It's refreshing and more interesting than water, though I drink heaps of water.

I also have a nice iced tea jug and a bunch of herbal teas and tisanes. In winter I permanently have a cup of tea/tisane, which I just keep topping up with hot water. Current favourite flavour is lemongrass and ginger, which is nice hot or cold.

Tomato juice perhaps. Only about 25 calories per 100ml.
Do watch for added sugars and the amount sodium though.

A lot of people like to put cucumber, lemon or lime slices in their water to flavor it.

Smoothies are a great idea; just omit yogurt and use bananas as a base. You can also freeze your banana(s) for a more creamy consistency. You can also find a lot of recipes online for watermelon juice, and different blended fruit drinks that don't require dairy or a lot of ingredients.

omg watermelon & juice sounds yummy i didn't think about that..

and i don't really ~need~ any more liquid/water options, i just get bored of it! and i like yummy drinks, but don't wanna blow a lot of calories on drinking stuff. i already drink a lot of herbal teas or iced sweet tea. was just looking for more ideas on the low calorie side, cus i dont wanna drink like a 400-500 calorie drink haha, and i hate soda. thanks for the ideas everyone

    My favorite.
  • La Croix Sparkling Water - all flavors you could want! :) Some of the Walmarts around here sell them, but not all flavors. http://www.lacroixwater.com/

I really like Bai5. It's 5cals per serving (10 per bottle) and it's different fruit type flavors. My favorite is the lemonade and tea lemonade. I also really like kevita probiotics drinks which are sparkling waters with coconut water and other fruit flavors/cleanses. They're about 20 cals per bottle. Also honest fizz, lecroix, and zevia 0 cal sodas.

Is it the carbonation you don't like about soda? If so, I won't be of any help, but I love the occasional sparkling water. I buy Sam's Choice (Walmart) most of the time because it's hella cheap with tons of flavors, but there are TONS of other options out there.

I've been loving the GT's Kombucha - Gingerade flavor. Low cals and low sugar.

yea, i don't like the carbonation and they hurt my teeth so i quit drinking soda years ago which has helped a ton with a lot of things, personally. plus it gives me more room to drink sweet tea which is my fav

i'm gonna see if i can find those bai5 drinks!
