It has been too long since I focused on health. I had a lot of start and stops in my progress along the way, well guess what it is not getting any easier! My body is crying for me to stop the madness and get with it. So, I'm back and encouraged to go forward and do something to help myself get healthier. I can't afford gyms or weight loss programs, so feel pretty blessed this is available to us. I also am going to have to figure out the exercise part but will do so in action. Right now, I have quite a few dusty fitness tapes. Time to pull them out and put them to good use. I hope each one of you finds the strength within yourself to make it happen. We can if we want and we will if we choose! Let's get er done!

I'm 56 and have been on MFP for about a year. I lost around 8 lbs., but then gained most of it back over the holidays, so in a way, I'm "starting over" too. I have a lot of MFP friends who are over 50 and trying to stay fit and healthy.0
