Hey!
So cooking for my family isn't a breaze. Half of my family loves big portions, and aren't the healthiest eaters. Its hard cooking foods they will enjoy that is not only low calorie, and healthy, but if they did it big portions, it wouldn't be too terrible for them.
Any suggestions? I would love if you could put the recipe below with the amount of calories.
It needs to be:
°easy
°super low cal.
°good!
°everyday ingredients
Thanks!

If your family loves Split Pea Soup, this is the best and healthy!0 -
Any kind of stir fry with the veggies you like. Or soup. Add shrimp for protein source, they are low in calories
White fish also is low in calories and veggies .
Tuna.

Check out Emilybites.com, especially the casseroles, etc. I will admit I turned my nose up at first because some of the recipes just seemed too simplistic to actually be good. She is by far my favorite food blogger now though and really has nailed that comfort food without giving up taste (or portions!). Almost everything is very family friendly and very easy to make. My personal favorite is the Deep Dish Sloppy Joe Casserole...picky kids (or adults) won't even know there are veggies hidden in all that sloppy cheesy goodness. She makes lots of varietys of main courses in muffin form too (meatloaf muffins, taco muffins, buffalo chicken muffins, etc., which are always good for portion control and fun for kids.0

So many veggies and lean meat, replace SOME of the grain things with veggies and stick to light sauces...0
