Good groceries for a picky eater? Help?

Not for me, I'm not picky at all really. BUT my boyfriend would like to start eating more healthy with me since he has never been great at it in the past. He asked me to go grocery shopping with him tomorrow to help him come up with good choices. I know what healthy choices to get for myself, but he is SO PICKY! He likes meat. He is not a big vegetable person at all, really the ones ones he'll eat are carrots, potatoes and sugar snap peas. He likes apples and grapes for fruit. So besides those few fruits and veggies he'll eat, what are some other ideas that would be good for him? He is not a huge cook but I'm sure I could teach him a couple simple things :) Any help would be wonderful!
Thanks in advance!

I am a picky eater as well. I like most fruits, but struggle finding vegetables I like. Carrots, lettuce, and edemame are my usual go-tos, although I don't mind certain other vegetables when they're added to dishes like soups or stir-fries.
Lean meats like chicken and fish are good high-protein, lower fat options, but there is nothing wrong with fat, so don't be afraid of red meat as well. I also love beef jerky as a filling and delicious snack. Eggs are a great source of protein and fat as well, although I don't like them myself (no matter how hard I try).
I also like to snack on greek yogurt, cheese, protein shakes and bars, and fruit.
