When to clean up friends

So, I hate to actually remove any of my MFP "Friends".
What criteria do you use to decide when to delete one.

If it's been months and they haven't been on I assume they have left the site.0

Same here and if the person is doing bad fad diet like 500 calories a day and won't listen to sense.

If they haven't logged on for a while, or if they are not supportive in any way. I mean really, what is the point for you to have friends on MFP if there is not any communication, no encouragement, or even constructive criticism. I just don't get it. I have a great group of friends now that are great supporters.0
