Are there any exercises you can think of that I'd be able to do

I found out today that i have hand, foot and mouth disease (which adults are meant to be able to catch, but go figure). I don't really feel that sick except for being a bit tired, so I feel guilty if i don't exercise and I also really want to, the only problem is that the bottom of my hands and feet are covered in blisters. I'm trying to think of exercise I can do; putting pressure on my hands irritates the blisters and I can't even walk normally barefoot (or with shoes)...so I'm kinda out of ideas. The blisters are meant to stick around for a week, and I really don't want to be immobile for all that time because one day has already driven me crazy. Can you think of any exercises I'd be able to do? Or should I just accept that I'm not gonna be able to workout this week?

hmm a couple of thoughts are situps, or you could check youtube for yoga ball exercise ideas, or even boxing whilst sitting down and without gloves (basically just punch the air). I hope you feel better soon.0

Ballet Beautiful might work for you. There are a few moves you would need to skip, but overall it's all mat work so you wouldn't need to be on your hands or feet Definitely skip the bridge portion.0

crunches, leg lifts, etc. You can also do punches for cardio. I saw that in a Jillian workout before and reinforced doing body combat classes. Doing jab, cross, etc combos really gets the heart going0

Just in case it turns out not to be hand, foot, and mouth disease, thought you might want to know of a skin condition called dyshidrotic dermatitis, which results in blisters on hands and/or feet. My son has had it since he was 10 and after years of trying to figure out the cause, we determined for him it is primarily caused from an allergy to rosin/colophony (pine resin), which is in a lot of things, including sports drinks and makeup. Nickel allergy also plays a role. There is some good info on the web; most doctors we've encountered don't know much about it so we've had to help educate them along with ourselves. It took about 3 years for us to get a diagnosis, and about another 3 to figure out what the cause was. As for exercise, please be sure to wear gloves and socks, as it is pretty easy to pick up infections once the blisters open. Wishing you all the best!0
