Questioning what measurement MFP uses for vitamins, checked mine today and it's saying that my Vitamin A intake is way over but have no idea what it even equals to in IU's

As long as it isn't a medical issue, or causing symptoms, don't worry. I'm always over on all my vits. daily.0

Vitamins are measured in percentage of daily goal on MFP because that is what is on food packaging. I also wouldn't worry about your vitamins being over unless it is in the thousands of percents and on a very regular basis. Most vitamins are just flushed out of the body if they aren't used.0

I too am wondering what measurement is used for vitamin RDAs. I'm always over on A & C. Today, for instance, I went 1000% over on vitamin A. When I looked item by item it seems 1 large carrot is 400% of my RDA, & my prenatal vitamin (notorious for being sure to have less vitamin A than most multivitamins) is 300% of my RDA. I hope this is something that MFP is working on tracking more accurately.0
