I started slowing down about 5 years ago, becoming lethargic and eating sweets. In 2013, I found out I had breast cancer and had a bilateral mastectomy. During the time of recuperation and breast reconstruction, I had to be careful and was very, very, even more inactive than before. I'm all healed now but I can't seem to kick start my energy. I need a buddy so that we can encourage each other to meet our goals, one step at a time through conscious eating and exercising.

I need some friends here.

Thanks!

Hi swoosieque - I'm 62 and would like to be your buddy on this journey. I'm just getting started so maybe we can encourage each other!

This is the place to be! No need to rush...consistency almost always beats bursts of speed, right! Just find a "pace" you feel you can maintain over a long period of time and let's get to it! Good luck to us.
