I will turn 50 late this year. I have been exercising at least 5 times each week since October 2012. Seeing alot of toning but little weight loss. Clothes are loosened. The last couple weeks I have focused on watching calories but still not dropping weight. Is it my age? I have started hot flashes and night sweats of menopause. Any help?

Inches are so much important than movement on the dreaded scale0

If you look better and your clothes are looser but your scale isn't saying you're losing weight, then who cares! It probably means you're losing fat and gaining lean muscle, which is great. Unless your scale is wonky But I wouldn't worry about it!0

It's hard to get away from focusing on the weight numbers..I try to never tell anyone my actual weight.0
