Hi All,
I'm totally new to this site. Its that time of year to start again.
I am a 64 year old male living in Yorkshire, who has had a weight problem all their life.
I came off holiday last year ( 9th Jan) and weighed a whopping 18st 9 lbs. I decided then that this is it this time. Throughout the year I had plenty of nights out when I didn't think about healthy eating or cutting down on the red wine. I weighed myself on the 26th November and was 16st 1 lb, and decided not to bother too much with healthy eating till the new year. I started MFP on Sun 4th Jan and I weighed 16st 9Lb. So I have managed to loose 2 stone over the year. Which is as good as I have done in a long time.
However my BMI is still fairly high and I am still classed as obese. My first goal is to get down to being " Overweight"
My main problem is being able to stick to it. I might get invited out and think " well just a couple of glasses of red wine won't hurt " But that is just a slippery slope.
At the moment though I feel very motivated ( again ) maybe I will do it this time.

Cheers
DAVE
