So I fell rollerskating over a month ago, and the next day it was swollen and sore. I iced it and took some ibuprofin, which made it much better, I limped around for a few days and then only had problems with the knee when I bent down flexing at the knee. I would get a pulling discomfort at the point of flexing and then a longer pulling sensation after standing up again. I took a week off of running, and exercise but I didn't see any improvement with the knee so I just went back to running, eliptical and then just recently took one cardio class. The pain was no better and just a little more uncomfortable afterwards. I went to the chiropractor and she adjusted my knee, it seems to be better that day but then the next day was back to the old pain. Now I am a week past the adjustment and it just won't seem to go away.

I am sure a lot of people are going to say to go to the doctor, but I would really like some advice on what I can do at home. I was thinking of getting a compression brace or maybe there are some stretches that I can do.... I just hate to go to the doctor pay the office visit for them to tell me the same thing someone who has gone through this already knows!

Thanks for any opinions!
