For all of you out there who are not the most motivated, but use this app on the regular, especially to track your calories: Have you noticed a difference? It's a lot of upkeep to track calories and nutrition, but it's obviously worth it if overall, many of you see satisfying results?

wait, can you rephrase?
because like, if the question is "does calorie tracking work?" the answer is a resounding YES.
but....if the question is "does the MFP app/website/forum work?" then....well....we'll have to get real specific about how we define the term "work".....but no matter what we agree on, the answer is probably, "Nah, but they workin on it.....4ever."0 -
This tool works when used properly and consistently...which is where the work comes in on your part...this is just a tool.
It's not a magical app or anything, you don't just sign up and voila...there are tons of people who've had tremendous success with MFP and tons of people who've done jack *kitten*. It really is up to you...you will only get out what you put in.0 -
Absolutely, MFP makes tracking relatively easy. A lot better than tracking on paper or an excel spreadsheet.0

There are also tons of people that use the old fashioned calorie counting with pen and paper and that works too. That's how i did it before the internet lol

absolutely YES!!!0

It's an awesome tool but much still depends on the operator
Estimates are involved, so results need to be confirmed by your weekly weigh ins. Make adjustments as needed.
It works a little different for everybody so you just gotta figure out what works for you.0 -

Yes, it absolutely works. If you're honest with yourself and accept advice (if you ask for it) even when it's not what you want to hear0
