The Mind/Body Connect...

I have said many times that there is a mind/body connect that is so important as we seek to change our lifestyle...That being said, I just realized that I apparently still/continue to think of myself as "plus size", although I know that I will not be that in the next month of so.

I have not purchased any new clothing and won't until I hit my half way point BUT I am continually browsing plus size boutique shops, blogs, websites, etc. When will I...when did you...stop seeing yourself or thinking of yourself as plus size? I know that after 20 years of being in this body, it will be difficult, I think I just realized how much so...

This is an interesting topic, and a question I have been pondering too. I have lost 78 pounds, so I must look different. But I don't think I look like I've lost that much and I still have 100+ to lose!

I saw my friends for the first time in months last week and they were astonished by how much thinner I look! Which was lovely to hear. But made me wonder....has my brain not caught up yet? Or is it because I still have so much to lose that I have an image in my mind of my goal so I don't notice the difference as much?

No answers I'm afraid, but you certainly aren't alone! :ohwell:
