Walmart has them in the same place with the rest of their light bulbs. Forget what they're called, but they have them in normal size & little tiny size.0

I got mine at Target. Any convenience store should have them0

Always tough to find a bigger bulb when you need it. And then when you finally do, it's invariably too big to screw into the socket.

It's better to get a size too big than a tiny one.

You'd think so, but electric fit incompatibilities are hard to over come.
You'll have the best luck sticking with the maximum wattage bulb your socket was designed to accept. That will maximize light delivery while keeping the socket safe. Don't want to break something off in there and have to go fishing for it with half a potato.
I've been that road before. Sometimes if you work the bulb into the socket, the fit lights up the entire lamp.
