Calorie Confusion

I am in the process of losing weight. I currently weigh 142lbs and have lost 16 pounds so far. I need to lose another 15lbs to be at my goal weight.
I want to lose 2 pounds a week so I changed my goals and MFP said I should eat 1200 calories. I also exercise everyday. So if I eat 1400 calories and I burn 400 calories during exercise, my net calories becomes 1000. I know you should never eat below 1200 calories so if my net calories is below that, should I be eating more than 1400 calories? Is the amount of calories I'm eating enough for the amount of exercising I'm doing.
