That's great! I am the same age, and my kids are gone, so I am working on ME! It's hard at this age! Good luck with your journey!

Thank you for your support every one. :) I'm staying strong still have not lost anything except for the eight lbs at the beginning of my journey. But most important is that I'm eating healthy or just making better choices. It just goes to show that I have a lot of metabolic damage in my body is repairing. 12 years ago I lost a little over 130 pounds on Atkins diet in less then a yr. And I just don't want to get back to where I was 13 years ago. And I am fearful of that for these reasons I have been slowly gaining over the years from 120 to 170 today. It's due to the menopause over the last couple two three years I believe four I started having these cravings for chocolate and everything that sweet and yummy that we shouldn't have. But when I was overweight I never crave that stuff I got that on this over eating potatoes and and such not junk food. My cravings have subsided thankfully. I'm taking CLA by the way. I really need to drink more water that something I have not been doing shame on me right? I live in Colorado and I'm going to start taking morning walks with my dogs on our back country roads but boy is it cold right now. Got a pair snowboots yesterday to prevent me from busting my butt him and keep my toes cozy.

You can definitely do it! I suggest finding an activity that you really enjoy doing. It will burn extra calories and release happy stuff in the brain to curb the chocolate cravings. Good luck and enjoy the journey!
