Once upon a time I was in pretty good shape. I played rugby 3 times a week, gymmed on top of that and swam. I was 195 pounds of (mostly
) muscle. Then I had a horrible shoulder injury that ended my playing days, and I stopped exercising at all. Fast forward a few years, and I'm 230 pounds of mostly fat.
Although I'll never be able to play rugby again, I NEED to get in some kind of shape again. As fun as it's been to sit around doing nothing, I'm not at all happy with how I am now. So it's time for a change! I'm aiming to get back down to the 190-200 mark by the middle of June, but really for me it's a little less about weight and a bit more about my body fat.
These things are always harder to do alone, so I'd welcome a few friends on here for mutual encouragement, support and advice.
