Hi, my name is Mary. I've been on here before & i lost 25 lbs, That was a couple of years ago, then my mom died and it's been downhill for me from there, i never seemed to get that motivation or energy back to start again, i have gained the weight i lost back plus 5 extra. now i feel like its impossible, even though mentally i know its not. I graduated college in May and now all i do is work, come home, cook dinner, eat and sit around. I'm always tiredm, in fact i constantly feel exhausted, i have alot of strees in my life, and challenges fianancially, which makes it hard to afford good food. Plus i'm raising my 11 year old grandson, & he's a very pickyeater. any suggestions are welcome!

I find its very easy to tweak favorite recipes. A lot of times, ill find healthier substitutes to use in my favorite foods (i.e. lean ground turkey for ground chuck, whole wheats for whites) ill also cook with less oil. Another way to get your grandson to eat it while being healthy is to sneak in veggies. my mom did that. my brother HATED veggies, but my mom would cut it finely and throw it into spaghetti sauce, chili etc. that is also a good way to stretch it, so you don't have to buy as much protein which tends to be whats most expensive. I find beans and eggs are great healthy protein options that don't break the bank. I live in Hawaii, so we go to the farmers market every week to get produce... its the cheapest place for me to get it! im not sure about where you live though! I think you can totally lose weight! feel free to add me!0

I love the farmers market here in Hawaii. Best place for produce I think and expensive in grocery stores lol I'm new to this app but I love it so far, need friends for motivation or even to swap some recipes0
