Gaining weight and staying toned

Hey everyone!

So I've decided that I want to gain some weight since I'm a by under what I should be, but I also want to get toned. I'm not really sure how to adjust my diet to do this, if you guys have any favorite websites that you use with info please let me know!

Thanks guys!

well. couple of questions- are you lifting now?
    - have you been lifting?
    - how much weight do you want to gain?
    - what's your food situation looking like- have you been cutting/maintaining?
    - how long have you been tracking
    - male? female?
    - height?
    - weight?

    Secondly
Gaining weight can be fat and or fat and muscle.

But you'll never gain JUST muscle- i'ts not going to happen.

So. typically the answer is- eat at a slight surplus (250-500 calories over maintenance)
lift on a program that includes progressive lifting
    rest.

    later
    rinse
    repeat

    for several months.

But- without answer the above questions- it's hard to give you a better answer- odds are you probably could eat at maintenance and lift and get good results- but I don't know what type of lifting you've been doing so both of those are kind of a stab in the dark.
