Hello, everyone! ![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
My name is Teria, I'm 20 years-old from a small town in the state of Kentucky!
A little bit about me & my journey is that when little, I was always considered "normal" with my weight. When I was about 12 years-old I was put on steroids due to my health problems which caused me to gain a ton of weight. By the age of 15 years-old I weighed in on Thanksgiving morning at 225 pounds.
Needless to say, school was not an easy journey for me & I was bullied severely over my weight. However, the first year of high school was the hardest for me & probably the worst year of my life. & the summer after my freshman year I decided it was time for a change.
I began eating more "healthy" (didn't count calories) & I also began just walking and walking and walking. Before I knew it I was down nearly 20 pounds.
When I got to the weight of 150 I felt like it was nearly impossible for me to lose weight, not to mention I was getting teased for having an eating disorder. Which, in return, caused me to develop a severe eating disorder.
At 5'5 or so, I reached the weight of 109 and began fighting for my life.
Here I stand today, slowly upping my calories, I've went from >500 calories to 1400 and I feel AMAZING. It's a slow process for me, but I'm still increasing my intake. & today I stay at 137 pounds.
I guess you could say that I've been the unhealthiest person in both perspectives to a very healthy person!
Friend request are welcome, encouraged even, and I will do my best to help you along YOUR journey!
