calories in raw food vs juiced

Hi, I juice almost daily but it has just come to my attention that when I put in my foods I juice it shows the calories as if I consumed then raw in whole foods form but I've been told that the calories in while foods and juiced foods are different t. Can anyone e explain this to me? Bc w my juice this mo

Juicing or making a smoothie? Smoothie, obviously the same, juicing, I could see why they could be a bit less, since you're losing some of the carbs and fiber.0 -

Like With my juice this morning it said I used almost 700 calories but l don't think that's accurate. This app doesn't really have a "juiced" food area so I have to enter it in as a whole food.0

When you drink your calories (juice), your body has to do less work to digest the food, so you have the effect of consuming more calories, even though the energy you would release if you set a match to it and burned the food would be the same.0
