Hello there!

I want to try something different as a part of my training and I think a boxing bag will suits me well. (I'm working in advertising and feel the need to punch many people in the face..so before loosing my job I said...Why not? o:) )

Just joking, anybody here have experience with a boxing bag? What type of moves, what to do, what not to do?

Any help will be appreciated,

(sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language)

Regards! :D

I love Heavy Bag work for cardio. I have an Android phone and I found a great app called, Shoutbox Workout Timer; I'm not sure if it's available for iPhone or not. Basically you setup the number of rounds and the time of the rounds and what type of striking you want to do (boxing, kickboxing, mma) and it randomly calls out strikes for you to do. You can turn the intensity up/down depending on your conditioning, which means it'll call the strikes faster or slower. It's really really awesome, just get some decent boxing gloves so you don't tear-up your knuckles.
