Does anyone know if the sugar allowance in MFP is total sugar or just added or artificial sugar?
I eat a lot of fruit which has naturally occurring sugars and find this often pushes me over the daily allowance.

Total sugar. I ignore that one as most of my sugar comes from fruit and vegetables.0

It's total sugar but I don't even track it. Unless you have a medical condition, sugar is just a carb (tasty one at that) and I like carbs0

I am like you lorijay, I have fruit for breakfast or lunch and it always takes me over the allowance. I did read in another post that natural sugar is Ok amd mfp cannot tell between natural or added. If that makes sense x0

Thanks. I'll probably just ignore it in future.0
