I have been using my fitness pal for 3 weeks and have not been seeing weight loss. I usually burn 150 -300 calories at the gym 3-4 days a week and never seem to eat all my calories. I'm 5'2 and and currently 114 pounds. I would like to get to 110. Does anyone have any advice on how to jump start this weight loss.

Try some weight's it will give your body a toned look. It's not all about the scale.0

erm.... i would have to say that your body is probably at its weight for your height, either that or you need to go intense with your workout.
4lbs to lose is nothing like someone who is trying to lose 20 or more.
even then you still have to do intense workout.0 -
I cant. I just cant.0

My suggestions: 1. Set your weight loss goal to .5lbs a week. 2. Eat your calorie goal plus your exercise calories. 3. Be patient. With only 4 lbs to lose it'll probably be slow going.
Also as someone else suggested take up weight lifting to help with toning and body composition.0 -

Sounds like you're in a terrible plateau. It's time for a detox or cleanse. Have you considered surgery?0

God I am dying at the responses. Each one is funnier than the last haha
But cutting OP some slack BC you sound really young and like maybe you're not really sure how things work. It's going to be really difficult for you to lose weight because you don't really have to lose weight.
What I assume you want to do is firm up/tone which means you should probably be focusing on body recomp/lifting or maybe a full body work out like running (I'm a running Junkie so I like to pretend you can get the same results as lifting haha). ANYWAY point I'm making here is given the fact that you're already at a fairly low weight without much to lose you are probably "skinny fat" if anything resembling a need to "lose weight" you're better off at decreasing body fat and increasing muscle mass, it is very possible to be more toned/ firm but stay the same weight or even gain a pound or two. The scale is a pretty useless measure for someone in your situation.
Also it takes time and the less you have to lose the more time it takes, Ironic but true. I lost 1.5 pounds this month running 25 miles a week and netting an average of 1250 calories a day (meaning there were days I ate or exceeded 2000 calories) It has to be a slow and steady process, if you lose it fast it wont stay off and you'll be losing even more muscle mass, not to mention you won't have the energy to work out if you're not fueling your body correctly. Fast weight loss is a recipe for failure.0 -
