Eating Most of Your Calories at Night

I know this probably gets asked a lot, but is there any harm in consuming most of your calories at night?

I've never been a big breakfast eater and lately I don't feel hungry enough for anything other than a light snack at lunch. Consequently, I have a larger dinner, and maybe an evening snack. I try to keep under 1600 calories a day, and usually come in low. Overall I'm still losing.

When I try to eat during the day I usually feel like it's a complete waste of calories when I'm not even hungry. I'm not eating junk food at night, but I enjoy knowing I can have a nice meal and maybe a cocktail without going over calories.

I have noticed my weight loss has slowed down in the past month or so, but I have quite a bit to lose and I know it will take a while. I'm trying to add in more exercise, so maybe that will make me hungrier during the day. I guess I just want to make sure I'm not sabotaging myself somehow...

No. A calorie is a calorie and your metabolism works 24 hours a day. Scientific studies have shown that meal timing is completely irrelevant in regards to weight loss.
