Can someone please help me? My Jawbone UP is connected with MFP. I turned on the negative calorie adjustment. Why is it when my Jawbone syncs my exercise with MFP does it subtract it from my remaining calories? For example, I had 544 calories left today. When I synced my Jawbone, I had a -600 in the negative calorie adjustment, and it said that I was -56 remaining calories. Can anyone explain that to me? Thank you so much!!

There should be a little "i" somewhere around your adjustment that you can click to see the math.

Are you logging workouts here or on Jawbone?
If you logged on MFP, what your adjustment is saying that your MFP calorie burn with exercise is higher than what your Jawbone tracked + exercise.

An example would be, if MFP thought my total calorie burn for the day (1830) with exercise (400) was 2230. My Garmin however, said you know what, other than your exercise you were pretty lazy for the day. If my Garmin tracked burn was only 1800 with exercise, I would have an adjustment of -430.

Also keep in mind when you click the "i" it will tell you the time your adjustment was based on. I had a day that it took almost 24hrs for my Garmin Calorie burn in the adjustment to update. It updated at 9am and then didn't update again until 6 am the next day. This gave me an adjustment that took all my exercise calories away plus some.
