    I try to use cracked red pepper, jalapenos or other chilis when I can. Seems to help a little with keeping the metabolism going plus LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER. Found some meal replacement shakes at Target, 'EAS'. They're good for an on the go meal and only 100 calories & 3 carbs.

    Here is the chili I made this evening. Of course, I omitted some ingredients and cut the recipe in half. It still turned out great!

    OP, it's that simple. Also, simple tweaks can often up the nutritional value of your favorite recipes while making them more filling. For example, I replaced butter with EVOO in one recipe, reduced the salt in a second, and replaced white bread with wheat bread in a third.

    a good rule is to avoid the packaged foods. That's where you'll get a bad sugars, high sodium, etc.
