I'm just finding that at the end if the day my fat percentages are up there a bit. I've been drinking protein shakes....thinking I may have to pre cook some chicken breast this weekend just to have on hand.

Chicken breast is great, and can be prepared so many ways that it's a constant in my menu.

I'm a vegetarian so this is always a challenge for me. I buy the little tins of flavored tuna for a good amount of my protein intake...
    veggie ground
    protein shakes
    beans

The best way I found is tuna (from can is easiest) and skinless boneless chicken.
I make a tuna salad, and can control what else goes in there, I often add more eggwhites, etc. The chicken without the bone is easy to weigh, and is pretty much 0% fat, no carbs, just pure low calories protein.

I also eat eggwhites daily (no eggs) but I can't eat as much as I would need to have my required protein. Protein shakes are great, but I only drink them here and there because of the sugar and fat content.

All the great B vitamins are stored in the fat. Take all the fat out you lose those benefits. I find all my portable proteins (I eat protein at every meal, every snack) come with fat. I consider fat a satiety extender and within limits, good for me.

I don't see hummus on the list above. You can make home-made with little fat, but I love the olive oil in mine!

Whey protein powder. No fat, easy protein supplement.

PB2 from the health food store.

My idea of lowfat is probably different than yours because I shoot for 75g of fat a day sp keep that in mind.
In addition to those listed previously:
Greek yogurt with chocolate protein powder mixed in is a lifesaver for me! Comes out like a thick pudding!
Also seafood such as tuna and shrimp add tons of protein without a lot of fat.
    Cottage cheese
    Deli Meats
    Eggs and Egg Whites
Baked Oatmeal with added protein powder baked in
    Protein Pancakes
    Beef Pork Chicken Turkey
    Milk

skinless chicken breasts and yogurt, especially greek yogurt, and cottage cheese. Black beans and other beans also have protein...but much less than the other sources listed.

Why not add some plain protein powder to some low fat milk as a snack between meals?
