Hey guys.
I've been on and off MFP for the last 5 years...when I'm dieting I track really well, but the second I fall off the wagon I abandon it. I was REALLY bad last year, and my weight suffered because of it. Sound familiar? I'm still struggling, everyday. Anyway, I hope this is okay to post, but I made a video on YouTube about my 15 years of yoyo dieting. I think some of you can relate, and if you have any motivation or advice for me, I'd really appreciate it. If you'd like to see my diary, feel free to add me as a friend on MFP.

I would post something but I can't access YouTube on my work PC. I will watch the video when I get home tonight!0

Watching your video was great. There are definitely some things I can relate to & other things, (i.e. becoming vegan) I don't think I'll ever want to relate to I love how honest & blunt you were about it. One thing I've found pretty motivational is an app called Pact. Basically, if you don't log enough calories or exercise as much as you say you will, it charges you a minimum of $5/day. And, you can actually get paid for it. Not much, but it's been motivational for me.
All I can really say is, stick to it. I've been on MFP for three or four years & have yo-yoed quite a bit, too. A lot of it was college & not eating properly and another major factor was birth control and having a supportive boyfriend (now husband). Don't get me wrong... I love my husband like crazy, but having him say that I'm beautiful no matter what isn't all that motivating... :P
Good luck with this. I don't have any solutions & I have no clue how long it'll take, but I encourage you to stick to it. I have to force myself not to weigh in every day, so I have it on my calendar to weigh in once a week. Though, recently, that hasn't been happening 'cause I know I gained weight over the holidays & want to avoid it at all costs! Feel free to add me as a friend & I'll probably randomly 'like' things on your profile or encourage you. Either way, it's nice having one more friend on this site, just knowing that we're not alone0 -
I dont have much to offer, but I like u and ur vid was funny :P0

Thanks all for watching. I just hope that the more "I put it out there" the more it will positively enforce me to stick with it!0
