Can you - yes, but it won't be all fat ..it will be water, lean muscle and the 10lb isn't necessarily going to make your body look the way you want it to
So should you - no, probably not
That said in a month you could lose a small amount of fat and if you supplement with good training feel a whole lot better about yourself
So the question is who are you stepping on a scale in front of on that date..cos nobody but you cares about the number on the scale ...

Metabolism doesn't get affected the way people say
Starvation mode doesn't exist the way some people on here believe
Fad diets are just different ways to cut calories
No food is bad it's the quantities and variety you need to look at
Weight lifting doesn't bound muscle in a defecit
Muscles don't tone
Sugar and carbs are not bad for you
Dehydration only loses water weight
Hormones, exercise, sodium, bowel movements, clothes, time of day all affect weight on scale
