On December 1, I weighed in at 141.2lbs, today I weighed in at 131 even. 41 days, 10.2 pounds. I did this without any fancy plan, while eating sugar, artificial sweeteners, dairy, bananas, wheat, soy, and all the other foods we are told to not consume in order to eat clean. I run about 15 miles per week and ride my bike about 30 miles per week. I throw in some strength training 2 or 3 times per week. I've averaged about 1400 calories per day with 3 days of "controlled cheating" to celebrate x-mas eve, x-mas, and NYE. During these 40 days, I have probably had 3 glasses of wine-no other alcohol.

I am proud of myself and I hope others who are in the 15lb-20lb range see this as doable. I know the next 5, maybe 10 will be more difficult to lose, but with a ski vacation approaching in 2 days (Hello all day workout!) and some motivation behind me, I hope to come in on the lower side of 125 by Valentine's Day. Please feel free to add me to take a peak at my diary. (I don't add in or eat back my exercise calories- instead of use Runtastic to record my fitness progress).

Happy Losing All!

That is inspirational. Can I ask how you manage your hunger levels? I do about half your exercise, and eat around 1600 a day and yet I'm extremely hungry a lot of the time. For that reason I then eat more and so have been plateauing for a while. I think you do brilliantly to exercise so hard and eat so little and that's what's given you a fabulous result. Very well done.

The first week was very difficult with hunger. Since, I've been trying to fill up with eggs and Crystal Light with my water. And I also eat two larger meals with a snack- I like saving my calories for a nice big feast at the end of the day. I also like things like chicken broth that are filling without many calories. And oatmeal is my go-to for a quick fill-up.

I think that's tremendous dedication that I've seldom managed! Inspiring, thanks.
