Just having a lazy, lazy day

What do you do when you've got no fuel in the tank, even though you ate enough and got enough sleep? It's one of those curl-up days, haven't had them in a while.

I hate those. Forcing myself to do something sorta helps, or taking a nap, lol. But I've found that if I workout early in the morning (I mean, within 3-4 hours of waking up), it doesn't happen that often.

Rest days can be just as important as those that we exercise, maybe you just need to curl up and treat yourself to a spot of well deserved relaxation!

I hope your day goes well!

I have those days, too, especially when the weather is cold. Sometimes I force myself to get up and get busy, and other times I just embrace it and tell myself that this is my body and mind telling me that I need to slow down and take a break. I often find that if I embrace it for one day and no more (because more than that leads to lazy, lazy, lazy for days), I feel rejuvenated. Hope you enjoy your day!

I don't do mornings often, but you're right, when I do, I have more energy throughout the day. Something to think about tomorrow!

Thank you, Adam! Maybe you're right :) I might have a coffee and see what it does. If it's no go, maybe it's movie day today :)

I hope you have a great day too!

I prevent them :) I set my alarm 30 minutes earlier than I plan to get up, then when it goes off I go grab a few swigs of an energy drink, or take some fat burner/energy pills or whatever (down a quick cup of coffee or mtn dew) then head back to bed. By the time my real alarm goes off 30 minutes later, I am up.

I am not a self-motivated person, and caffeine is the only reason I exist outside of my bed though... your mileage may vary :)
