Hi, I use this app on and off.

Now I have decided that this year will be the year for me, I will lose the weight that I've been wanting to lose for quite some time.

Do any of you have any tips to help me lose weight? I never really get the time to go to the gym as I'm always at college or at work.

This app does help me with my eating habits but I feel like that just isn't quite enough.

I'd really appreciate any help, thanks in advance! X

Weigh and measure everything, eat at a deficit and you will lose.

Your eating habits are what it's ALL about! Get the "Must Exercise" notion out of your head. You don't need to go to the gym, you don't need to exercise AT ALL - weight loss is 100% about eating less than you put out, period. To be as accurate as possible, weighing all solid foods (even prepackaged ones) on a kitchen scale, and measuring free-pouring liquids, is ideal. Beyond that, no special tips or "tricks" are needed.

I've had some medical issues that have been acting up since Christmas and haven't been going to the gym. I also got a digital scale for Christmas. My rate of loss picked right up just from having an accurate assessment of what I was eating. It's really all you need. Accurately track what you eat, eat at a deficit, and the weight will come off. Exercise is for fitness; calorie restriction is for weight loss.

Eating habits are quite enough. They are what put on the weight. They will take off the weight.
