measuring quinoa

the plan I am following calls for 1 cup of quinoa.......is that 1 cup, then cook it, or cook it first and THEN measure 1 cup...........(it plumps when you cook it like pasta & rice...or me!!)

1 cup of uncooked quinoa equals 2 cups of cooked. Yes it doubles in size. Most likely cook it first, then measure it out. Good Luck0
